![]() An adjacent Blood Grove can prevent this, though.īlood Groves can normally only be placed next to regular Groves, but there's two additional ways to play them: Next to a Forest/Thicket card, or next to an existing Blood Grove. In chapter 2 & 3 you can still use this strategy, but it's trickier because the enemies have a 40% chance of escaping and denying you loot. So I like to alternate Villages with Ruins, so you have safe tiles and don't end up getting wrecked by archers. You just need to make sure that enemies don't spawn on tiles before Ruins. In chapter 1, Ruins are exceptionally good for farming gear. Put your tough fights within 2 tiles of your campfire and have a soda. Ive gotten like 5 traits on Chapter 3 which drastically increases your success rate.īuild 4 Watchtowers ASAP and upgrade then to level 2. The trait that gives you 8xLoop EXP for each tile you place is B A N A N A S. Unlock the Bridge and fight some fishmen too.Īct 3 boss is super tough, won't spoil anything, but just a heads up. Lastly, the blood grove 15% effect works on bosses.I think, not 100% sure on this one. When placing villages, try to alternate when they give out quests, getting more than one quest monster in a battle can be devastating. Because of all the mirrors, you are rarely targeted, and it helps remove the bosses' protection.įrom what I've seen online, road lanterns are criminally underused, I like to hold onto a few and if I'm ever in danger, I can use them like an less drastic oblivion. The storm temple helps a lot with the second boss. If using treasuries, save your first few meadows until you have a treasury to place them around, also, if you wait to place the line of meadows between two treasuries, then you can get 3 of the meadows to count for both.
