![]() Now head back to the main hall either from the save room or the corridor north, and cross the main hall to the door in the north-east corner on the Eastern wall (c). Return to the save room via the same path, and put the clock hands on the Grandfather clock next to the chest to receive an eye gem. She'll drop a raven key and some clock hands. You'll briefly see a House Maid before she is consumed by a monstrous hand appearing from the portrait. Head north through the door into the next corridor, and then head through the door on the west wall to room (b). It's a good idea to conserve it until you're very low on health. Mystery Meat will fully heal you if you find yourself attacked by Ormod, or lose health for any other reason. Run west to the chest against the wall and open it for a slab of mystery meat. This includes items collected, doors unlocked and chests opened. Whenever you re-enter this room, all of your progress is saved. You can do this with any door in the Mansion.įollow the waif and enter the first save room (a). You can avoid him by right clicking the door and 'peeking' first before entering the room, or entering the room and quickly exiting then re-entering. He will only appear behind doors that have a smoky effect around them. When inside the mansion, you will be subject to attack from the ghost of Ormod when passing between doors. ![]() A non-annotated copy of this map is also used inside the mansion in place of the World Map).Įnter the mansion, and you'll see a ghostly waif appear and walk through a wall. (Note: The map above provides marks for the references in the section of the guide below. You can deposit all your items at the item deposit point next to Maria before entering. Note: 'Broken Home' is a quest which does not allow any items to be taken inside. Offer her your help, and she'll ask you to enter the mansion and investigate the deaths happening inside. Of course, this would be pointless unless Jagex put the "current RS time" on the front page so instead of having to login and out a hundred times just to check the RS clock, you can just connect to the main page and find out from there. To start, speak with the house maid Maria outside of the Mansion, north-east of Varrock (south of the Rag and Bone Man). Instead of saying "Drop party, World 1, 11pm Eastern Time!" you could say "Drop party, World 1, 23:00 RS time!" Then, someone in the Pacific zone wouldn't have to figure out how many timezones that is away and factor in daylight savings and all that other baloney they'd just log in at 23:00 RS time. I can understand how it would be hard to make an RS clock to display "proper time" for every timezone, but why bother? The point of having a Runescape clock would be to make coordinating things like parties and wars easier. Yes, before anyone flames me or shoots me down or calls me a noob, I know many other people have suggested a game clock for RS before on many other sites and such, and I know that people keep saying that "it would be too hard to program" or "it would be too hard to coordinate" or whatever, but I wonder why? Why would it be so hard to make the RS time coincide with the GMT for all worlds and timezones?
